Thankfully, none of today’s comics induced rage in me!
Well, if you ignore the Playboy bunny that is apparently a new Batman villain, that is…
But otherwise… hey I don’t hate the new Red Robin costume and his history seems to basically be in tact! Concerns relieved as far as he goes! (stillwishMarcusTowasstilldrawinghimthough)
I might be safe as a newcomer to some of the other characters, though, having never followed the likes of Cassie Sandsmark, or even The Flash (or his spinoffs), so I can’t say if any of them have been butchered or not. Forgive my ignorance if they have, for my wallet only allows me to barely keep up with my Bat Fam as of late!
DC Comics has thanked retailers and fans for their enthusiasm and support during the launch of THE NEW 52, but in a new appeal they’re asking for feedback in a new online survey.
As they made clear…
This happened to me as well, however all I entered was three pieces of information. Gender. Female. Age. 25. And what I purchased from the new 52.
Considering I purchased a whopping 52 of the new 52 I find it rather curious that “Unfortunately, you do not qualify for this particular survey.”
DC I literally dropped over $100 on your reboot. How is it that you’re not interested in my opinion on the products I purchased?
I didn’t go and buy these books individually, I went ahead and preordered the hardcover edition encompassing all the new #1’s and I know for a fact I am not the only female in my age range to have done so.
I don’t know if there’s going to be a future survey /just/ directed at female readers, but if there is that’s a bit of a waste of time when you could just collect and organize all the data off one survey if you didn’t disqualify female readers in their mid 20’s.
I seriously don’t get that. I’m 21/F and didn’t go any further, either. Also, what the fuck is the point of examining your demographics if you don’t actually see what a chunk of them thought of what they bought?
What do males 18-36 see when they do this, I wonder?
I put in 24/F and the various comics I bought (I didn’t get all 52), and I got through the whole survey. Is it if you didn’t buy them all, they want to know why? Or perhaps, you guys said no to an agreement question? Or maybe it’s just a glitch? *shrug*
So the key to convincing one's father to play a video game...
…is to have a video game that allows him to aimlessly drive around a city in cool vehicles with no actual story, goals, races, or anything else to achieve other than chasing down his children with a semi truck and laughing maniacally.
I don’t think he’ll be shooting down aliens any time soon, but it’s a start towards a better future…
