Okay so I know this is an overplayed song we’ve heard a million times over, and whether you love the song or hate it, this is amazing. He’s essentially REBUILT his own song by gathering up all the Youtube covers/re-imaginings/parodies and remixing them all together into a new, sometimes even more superior version. This is amazing in a whole other way than just “cool song bro”. I know there have been “Youtube Orchestras” that have built songs together, but those have been premeditated creations. This is people inspired by a song, unknowingly inspiring the original artist in return. Inspiration, collaboration, improvement, reinterpreting, giving kudos where kudos is due. Again, whether you love the song or hate it as a song is not the point… this is a beautiful representation of a deeper meaning of the word art.
